ABD3 LLC

Founded by three entrepreneurs and headquartered in New York City, ABD3 LLC develops social applications that help people connect in the real world. YellowPin is the company's first product, enabling subscribers to draw on their existing social networks and engage in real world, social activity – with users in complete control of what information they choose to share. With universal accessibility in the United States, YellowPin easily integrates with both users' established social networks and their desired real time behaviors and interactions.


Mark E. Andrews IV, Chief Financial Officer, ABD3

As CFO, Andrews administers and approves the company's funding and financial planning. He is responsible for all financial reporting, budgets and business developments and creating a strong reputation for ABD3. Andrews manages and reports all financial transactions and is involved with the development and execution of all finance, accounting, and billing procedures, making the company's assets safe and secured.

Andrews has had extensive experience with market analyses. Prior to joining ABD3, he served as head sales analyst at Castle Brands Inc., a publicly traded global producer and marketer of super premium spirits. His responsibilities included global sales forecasting, financial reporting and other market analyses.

At Castle Brands, Andrews conducted numerous conferences and seminars across the country, where he consulted and educated a number of Castle Brands' distributors on the attributes of the company's products.

Andrews graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts in history.


Sayles D. Braga, Chief Executive Officer, ABD3

As CEO, Braga not only oversees all business activities, but also drives the company's corporate strategy and growth into new markets. He manages the distribution and allocation of funds, development of strategic plans and directs the company's product developments, while building and maintaining strong relationships between the company's investors and their markets.

Previously, Braga worked with Lazard Frères & Co., LLC in the restructuring group. As a member of the firm, he worked with and advised numerous companies throughout their bankruptcy proceedings and M&A processes. His work included various strategic alternatives, including recapitalizations, asset sales, liquidations and other operational and financial restructurings.

Braga has extensive experience in creating dynamic financial models for his clients and has diligently executed and led strategic restructuring plans. He has led a number of complex turnaround assignments for companies such as Adelphia Communications Corp., Collins & Aikman Corp., the UAW, and New Century Financial Corp.

Braga graduated with honors from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.


Charles M. Darling V, Chief Operating Officer, President of ABD3

In his role as COO, Darling brings a wealth of social media and market experience to ABD3, leading all aspects of product and business development. With knowledge of and past work with the online networking ecosystem, he leads the company's business partnership program, strengthening and expanding relationships and market potential. Additionally, he currently serves as a principal of the Darling Group, an investment entity focusing on Internet-based, startup companies.

Darling has extensive experience in business operations. Prior to ABD3, he worked as vice president of operations at Entertainment Media Works, Inc. (EMW), a VC-funded Series C developer of social platform applications in the social media and social shopping space. He managed the day-to-day operations and was critically involved in developing sales strategies, budgeting, and funding. In previous projects, Darling oversaw EMW's consumer facing Web sites, on behalf of media properties such as “American Idol,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Knocked Up,” and Gwen Stefani.

Prior to EMW, Darling worked with the law firm Clement, O'Neill, Pierce, Wilson, and Fulkerson where he was responsible for economic analyses in validating claims against broker-dealers for improper trading practices.


Alberto Escarlate, Chief Technology Consultant

Bringing tremendous industry experience to his role as chief technology consultant of ABD3, Escarlate is responsible for providing business-focused oversight of the company's research and development efforts, as well as driving the company's short- and long-term technological direction.

Prior to joining ABD3, Escarlate co-founded TigerTag and served as chief technology officer for a number of different technology companies, including Entertainment Media Works and Byte Interactive.

Previously, he was the director of project management at Digital Drive, a unit of the Interpublic Group of Companies, and the associate director of production at Modem Media. Escarlate worked on a number of interactive projects for clients such as: Adidas-Salomon AG, Allied-Domecq, AT&T, Delta, Circuit City, General Motors, Fujifilm, Gillette, IBM, Kraft Foods, M&M Mars, Nestle Waters of North America, Philips Electronics, and Reader’s Digest.

A project management professional certified by the Project Management Institute, Escarlate holds a Master of Computer Science degree from the School for Systems Engineering of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
